With this horrendous cover of Junoon's hit 'Dosti', Atif Aslam not only made ears bleed, but put one off the idea of ever wanting to hear the original song again. What Mr Aslam was thinking when he decided to force this song on an unsuspecting public is beyond comprehension, but one does hope that he never repeats this mistake again. Atif's screechy vocals couldn't even match up to the song, and perhaps that's why such beloved songs should never be covered: they can never match upto the original. Though Atif proved that far from matching Ali Azmat's vocals on 'Dosti', he could only prove the old adage true: 'old is gold!'
