Q:lets start with ur music background?

Atif:Well, I don't have any proffesional training in singing.Its a goft of GOD.

Q:HOw did u become interested in music?

Atif:one day my parents were out ,I sang a kishore kumar's song "ZINDAGI K SAFAR" out loud in the empty house n i loved the sound since then i felt i could sinng

Q:Was there any friction between u n ur parents when u came into music?

atif:Yes there was.my parents wanted me to continue with my studies but music was the only thing in my mind infact,i made my first song without my parents knowing abt it.

Q:where was ur first concert?

atif:well i did a lot of free concerts as i said before i performed a lot at public events nd college functions but my first real concert was at Mcdonalds i was paid Rs.5oo 4 it

Q:how do u come up with the ideas?

atif:they just pop into my head its very difficult to sit down nd think of idea.it comes to me naturally

Q:Do u create the music for ur songs first or the lyrics?

atif:it depends on how i get idea often it takes me an hour to pen down the lyrics to a tune that i thought of sometimes i just get a line of song in my head while i m doing nothing its an instinctive process.
