Qayaas band,who sang the beautiful song "Charkha nolakha" along with atif aslam in coke studio episode 1,have thanked Atif aslam for promoting them in coke studio.Recently,Atif aslam himself told the story of their thanks to him in a Radio show "Head over heels with Rj sophie"on Fm 89.Atif aslam said that:
"Qayaas Band was striving for years in the music market but they were not getting what they actually deserve.One of the members of their band named "sarmad abdul ghafoor" works for me as a guitarist also.And he used to tell me,Qayaas band launched the album but it isn't getting popularity as what it deserves.So,when rohail hyatt called me this time for coke studio season 5,i named qayaas infront of him as a good talent and he at once said "lets bring them on" and then the show begins.After the episode aired,Umair jaswal (the lead vocalist of Qayaas) called me and thanked me once again.so,I thanked God that i have promoted right people (the Humble and down to Earth people) :)"
