And on Daler's target were the judges of the singing reality show Sur Kshetra. Talking to LT, Daler lashed out, "Sur Kshetra has become 'Suar Kshetra' and both the judges - Atif Aslam and Himesh Reshamiya are jokers!"
Apparently the anger behind Daler's words came from him being upset to see how singing queen Asha Bhosle was being treated on the show. He went on, "Woh dono maha besurey hain, jinhe gaane ki tameez nahi hai. Ashaji sangeet ki devi hain. Asha, Lata banney mein saat janam lag jayenge. Do jokeron ko bitha diya and they are being asked to comment on Ashaji. This is just a way of earning money. Kam se kam show banane walon ko itna tameez toh honi chahiye ki Aashaji ki baat ko kaata na jaaye."
Having let off steam, Daler was willing to talk about his own work. He informed that he had recently returned from Spain after performing at a youth fest, the only singer from Asia to have been invited there. Talking about it, he said, "Since the time it was made available online, my track Tunak Tunak has received over 70 million hits, the maximum in the world. Based on this popularity, we were invited." In fact, seeing the success of Tunak Tunak, Daler informed that he was keen on launching all his albums online in the future. "The social media has become a popular and effective means to increase penetration and outreach. So, we have decided to focus more on the online launches. Besides, no one can control piracy but by this means we can reduce piracy threats. Anyone can access music and based on the number of clicks we will get our pay cheque too. It's a win-win situation for all," he avers.
Once in Allahabad, the singer made sure he had time to visit Sangam. "We arrived here last night and about one in the night I went for a Triveni darshan. My group was very thankful that I took them there. Sangam mein badi shanti milti hai," he smiled. Daler added that he was ready to do his bit for the cause of River Ganga, saying, "Agar Sangam ke liye koi kuch bhi karne ko bole main free mein karunga. I amplanning to create a track dedicated to Sangam and the environment."
