Q1. how did u come up with the name of ur album ?
after conceiving the name Jal, i had another concept in mind. The concept that H3o is the purest form of water. When light hits water a colourful rainbow, which is symbolic itself, is seen. Thus water is something no one can live without. For my album i was thinking in terms of an imaginary creature that could not live without water, which is a mermaid and is called JaL pari in urdu.
Q2. image wise, which westren band r u most inspiried with ?
I don't have many westren inspirations but i have always enjoyed Dave Mathews and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
Q3. Who do u think is likely to win an international beauty pageant from Pakistan ?
(after a long pause) I think out of the females, Iman has the looks and from males, Shan Definitly has the potential.
Q4. Who was ur first crush and how did u react whenever u would encounter her ?
It might sound unbelieveable but i haven't had any crushes up till now.
Q5. Which is ur dream car ?
A limo. Actually I think that my own car is just like a limo.
Q6. Which super hero would u like to be ?
i would like to be super man, because i love to fly high in the air.
Q7. are u brand concious ?
no not at all "kuch bhi chal jata hai", although my brother is a designer and designs my clothes.
Q8. Which song defines u the best ?
all songs define me well. but Bon Jovi's "in these arms" and "thank u 4 loving me", define me best.Q9. what were u like as a teenager ?i was very ziddi and ladla. being the youngest, i was very shararthi.
Q10. what is like 2 b famous ?
its a blessing. i had never thought that it would happen - so suddenly - is unbelievable. almost a miracle. during the IM awards, i was sitting back stage, a lot of famous celebrities came up 2 me and said they really liked my songs. that was flattering.
Q11. if u had th choice to star as a lead actor in a spiderman or James Bond movie, which one would it be and why ?
i would love to give the sound track of any of these, but i wouldn't act.
Q12. which colour describes u the best ?
"BLuE" decribes me the best, i feel i can relate to water in most ways, because water is blue, deep and finds its own ways.
Q13. what would u have been if u ween't a singer ?
i would have been a fast bowler since cricket is my second passion.
Q14. any message to the readers ?
i would only say one thing, one should never lose hope, and whatever u want to do, even if u r unsuccessful just keep trying and be determined, becuz that is the only way u will succeed.
